Sylvie Richard

Once I complete my training (soon!) I will be very interested in networking with my fellow Canadian eurythmists.

I also wanted to acknowledge the Anthroposophical Foundation of Canada which came forward with a grant which I will apply to loan re-payment from Eurythmy Spring Valley. I felt wonderful that an anthroposophical body could support eurythmy that way.

Sylvie-
Do you know of a body that helps with eurythmy tuition in the US? I am looking to start training this fall, and there don't seem to be as many financing avenues as there are for standard teacher training. Maybe I'll have to move to Canada!
Thanks,
Michael

Michael, it is very difficult to get tuition support from Foundations, especially in the early stages of the training. If you are affiliated with a Waldorf School, that can be a good place to start. Another idea is to cultivate relationships with active members of the Anthroposophical Society in your area. These are people who understand the value of eurythmy, and may be willing to work with you to develop sustainable sources of funding. The key message is not so much asking for tuition support, but rather, seeking patient capital...Good luck and keep us posted...Mark
