Human beings are born with a love of movement. It is hard to imagine a more joyful experience than watching a child learning to crawl and walk. As a pianist who has played for, and worked with, eurythmists for 50 years, I must admit I am often disappointed by tone-eurythmy performances. They capture some of the music, but are not completely satisfying.
I cannot however remember ever seeing better tone-eurythmy than from Margrethe Solstad. She really makes "visible music".
